What prompted the need for the service? NYSEG wanted to install a new gas pipe underneath the Susquehanna River in Vestal, NY.

Who were the companies involved? NYSEG (client), DDS Companies (GC) What were specs of the job? 1700 linear feet of 10 inch steel pipe.

What challenges/obstacles occurred during? Because of the location, some environmental concerns were raised. Turner Underground collaborated with TRC’s environmental inspector throughout the project to make sure measures were taken to protect the environment. This resulting in no negative effect to the environment.

What was the ending outcome? NYSEG was able to successfully install a new gas line with the help of HDD.
